Now you are asking for a miracle if the one posted on the other forums doesnt work. It might be posted on here also. Have you tried it?  That application is not available from google.  Would have to find a version installed on a european phone with the same resolution if that one doesnt work.  And that might be a little difficult.

Well i'm half way there now.  I used the .jad and .jar files from the other forums and went to http://mgm.funformobile.com/pages/game/gamemain.php and uploaded both of them.  The app works in full screen with the right resolution and the gps works.  Now all i need to do is goatbreak it to get rid of the pesky permission.  Still working on getting my phone port to pc connection.

Let us all know how it works out.  Apparently you guys are a lot smarter than me.  I've never done any code work per se, and I'd assume you're having to rewrite lines to make this happen.

Well if its not goatbroken it shouldnt be using the gps either, unless ATT left the gps unlocked on that phone. Does it show your about location or exact location?

Also not sure how that uploader site handles both the jads and jars. Hopefully it works out for you. But I do believe it should adjust to your resolution.

The resolution is fine, however so far it is using the triangle for location.

I installed Google Maps, the version I think agoattamer posted, and it works flawlessly on my Mythic.  Although I think it eats my battery BIG TIME.  It states it's getting my location via GPS and when going to the satellite view it typically appears to be spot on... maybe within a few feet.

Yes if using triangulation it will tell you with a big blue circle and it will say approximate. When it uses the gps it will just show you as a little blue blinking dot.

Als you should be outside in the open sky for the gps to work. Doesnt work too well inside if it connects at all.

I saw the blue approximate circle yesterday when attempting to show a buddy in our office.  It pinpointed me to within 3000m and drew a big circle around half of our small city.  LOL  Once outside I thought I was gonna be able to zoom into the satellite pic and see myself standing there waving.  Also the GPS works in the car.  It showed my lil blue dot exiting the freeway this past weekend. I watched it in real time for a few mins as the lil dot traveled down the road and corresponded to our true location. I like it.  Somehow I even once got it to show a pic of a bldg at an intersection, kinda like the PC version of Google Maps where you can drop the lil guy for a street view.
