So far, I have not found a way without using the camera.

I set the camera to camcorder mode, turn the light on, and start recording.

An app/widget would be nice.

This works great on my phone try it. Simply turns on led flash, I installed with TKFE , but may be able to be installed normally. Don't know if app needs special permissions to access flash.

nelnel21-

Something must have gone wrong ,try deleting lamp and reinstalling a fresh download from above. If you still have problems try to give details on steps you took.Have you successfully installed with TKFE before ?

Question:
Is the lamp app supposed to turn the camera led on constant, or just the screen with different colors.  Mine just does the latter where you can change the background color of the screen with no camera LED control.

Thanks

cool little app, thanks for the upload. is there a way to just lock it to one screen color (like black)? and could i make a widget out of it, so that i can gain quicker access to it?

3vil-
Did you install with TKFE ? I've haven't had any problems.

Not sure about making that into a widget, don't think we can access phone system except for internet shortcuts or search.

hmm thats funny,

i just tested the app after your complaints and mine seems to be having the same issues.
the led lamp turns on for a second, then blinks, and then turns off.
i noticed that the app itself seems to run somewhat slower than before.
i tried covering up that light sensor on the front top of the mythic because i thought it might have something to do with it, but that didn't help.

its definitely weird that this happened all of a sudden to many of us.
