Hi, I'm LT and I need mucho help!! Enabling camera problem

Hey, Guys

I'm more of a straight to the point kinda person.

Have my mythic for about 2 weeks now. I'm having trouble with the camera. Yeah, yeah, I read the manual but I feel as if they forgot a step into activating the camera function. The manual says blah, blah, press the button on the side with the (-) ok done! No camera. Now I know my camera works because in figuring out all the other wonderful features one time I enabled it somehow. I was ecstatic, but while messing with my phone again at some point I must of disabled it somehow. Now could it be that my camera is working intermittent and IS faulty? Cause if I go according to the directions in the manual... It does not work in any  mode even if I press it 1x 2x or hold it down forever.
I've barely ever have any type of issues with any type of electronics but this one is getting the best of me. I refuse to think my camera doesn't work. Since it did once before.
There's gotta be some sort of setting before pressing the "take a pic" camera button...

nothing. All my other side buttons work except for that one. I can view pics and settings through the menu. But If I wanted to take a quick pic a simple touch of the button on the phone side... as stated in manual Isn't working for me. I plan on taking it back tomorrow. But I don't believe that there's a problem. It's some sort of tweak/button setting I'm missing. Did your camera just work with just the press of the side button?

but it worked once. Something I did. But for the life of me, dunno what! lol. It never worked out of the box though. I did this and that just gettn familiar with phone and one day, Wallah, there it was my camera worked. Now I believe I must of changed something. But I guess not. I starting to believe the camera rocker button is faulty. U think? I even called AT&T they couldn't help. They said, it should be simple. I don't think it should be rocket science either. So I'll be taking my phone back.

NO, no messn, no hackn not doing anything other than what I'm suppose to do with the phone. There are just some things... I draw the line. My phone is one of them.

No, it doesn't work through the menu options either. It opens the camera function/menus and u can see the viewfinder but it will not take a pic.
Dats ok. I'll take it back. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
