If you are willing to try other versions of pc-studios I can give you others to try.

This is for some European models.

and this version

I am going to try them myself with xp32k to see if they have any added features.

I used 64bit vista too, and I had suffered the same issue. Somehow, I un-install all related software and driver and started over. I still could not find the COM port in TKFE. Then I went to Device Manager, found there is SAMSUNG MODEM (PC Studio mode choosed, and bluetooth turned off on cell phone) installed. then I checked the properties of the modem. It shows port COM 7. After I entered COM 7 as port number in TKFE, I could connect to TKFE with phone. Hope it helps, good luck.

No space when entering COM port. It would get entered in TKFE as COM7 and not COM 7.

This seems to be an issue with all the samsung touchscreen phones. A connection to PC studio seems to have problems. I am running 32-bit Vista and I had a Samsung Impression that would only connect when I restarted the computer. Then, a few minutes later, it error messaged, fell out of the connection, and never connected again. It's a driver problem with PC Studio that has yet to be fixed.

No matter which version of pc studio I run, it works perfect. I have had no problems with my drivers at all. I didn't get a port listing with TkFE but I was able to find out easy enough and everything works terrific for me. Still totally in love with my phone, just wish I could password protect screen lock.

I found out another way of finding com port the TKFE connection.

Get PC Studio that installs with your phone.

Install PC Studio First, after install complete do not run, then connect phone through USB.

Run TKFE and try the settings. If no COM showing:

Open up Control Panel
Choose System then choose Device Manager.
Select Modems then Samsung Mobile Modem
Select Advance tab and you will see the COM number.
Use this as your TkFileExplorer Com.
Simply type in the COM setting.
Also lowering baud rate a little helps too.

I found a solution for some of the TKFE connection problems.  This is for when your com port does not show up in TKFE.

Get PC Studio that installs with your phone.

Install PC Studio First, after install complete do not run, then connect phone through USB.

Run TKFE and try the settings. Look for com port. If no port is listed when using the drop down menu arrow do this.

Easier way is open up Control Panel
Choose System then choose Device Manager.
Select Modems then Samsung Mobile Modem
Select Advance tab and you will see the COM number.
Use this as your TkFileExplorer Com.
Simply type in the COM setting.
Also lowering baud rate a little helps too.

Notice as this is already mentioned a few posts above?

Okay sorry, didn't see that.

Re-worded above post to clarify that this is not a fix-all solution.

Sorry for misleading anyone.

Okay, I've looked for a solution before I posted this, but I can't seem to find one.
I installed eBuddy on my Mythic and it worked fine.
Then I went and did the steps to use WikiMobile.
After doing the Wikimobile hack, I did the whole master key and update thing.
After I did that, I tried to access the Wikimobile app and it would load for like a second before going straight back to the apps list/screen. Then I went to see if eBuddy was still working and it's not.
My apps won't load now, so what am I suppose to do?
