You got that screen by holding the volume button down when booting I believe. It is used for flashing your phone. Unfortunately there is no available firmware to flash.

yeah it was volume down and camera i think.
i've been looking around for firmware files, and sadly have come up with nothing.
there does seem to be an unlocking box out there made by a company called nspro that just picked up support for the mythic, so maybe, if it has the capabilities, somebody, somewhere will dump the firmware files?

I have the Samsung Mythic as well.I messed it up already.I seen you post and had to reply. I have the same message on my phone now, after I unlocked it.As I was messing around in the setting,I just had to see what every one of the setting did. When I got to the debug setting,I hit it.My phone rebooted and is now doing the blue screen with the same message you posted about. When it rebooted I was not holding down any keys/button ect.
I am now trying to find a answer to fix this problem.

Here is info on this subject from impression forum. It is very similar to our phone and it probably applies. WARNING you are probably not going to like what you read, seems your going to need to maybe send it in. Hope this helps.

It's also very possible that hooking our phones up while in bootloader mode may give us access to some of the protected files we usually can not access/change.  I will check into this, but this is the way most flashing works on any phone, i phone, win mo, etc.

Well just in case you do mess up your phone and get into the bootloader screen, register on the MySamsung Support site as soon as possible so that you are eligible for the 1 yr standard manufacturer warranty on the phone. They will replace it for you.

You are better off for warranty to go through ATT.  They will send you a new phone within 2 days to replace it. With samsung you have to send your phone in and do without for a couple of weeks.  The only reason you should be going to samsung for warranty issues if you are using phone unlocked with T-mobile.

Had to deal w/ samsung on warranty with my old dlp hd tv ,still under warranty.
It took 5 1/2 months, but at least I got a brand new tv ! That went out also in the same amount of time, LOL.  No warranty on second tv thought that was funny.
Now the proud owner of a vizio 240hz xvt series, amazing picture and man for the price you just can't beat it.
No wonder they were advertising and not samsung during superbowl  Wink

sorry I got off topic a little !  Grin

Not sure if this is a similar problem, but I've had my mythic for only a month and now the loading screen only goes three quarters of the way across the screen, then stops and repeats. Even when I try and charge it, the same thing happens. It is not the battery, as I tried a different one at ATT. I have pics on the phone, not saved to memory card, that i desperately need to retrieve, as they are part of school project. Basically is there a way I can get these pics off the phone without being able to turn it on?

No you are out of luck. Try removing the memory card and see if the phone boots up.
