Like many people we weren't able to transfer files directly to memory card via bluetooth using windows software. you were able to download to phone memory then transfer to memory card but this capped size limit to what was available on phone. Not an option for large files.

I noticed my wifes mythics memory card was available for me to browse completely.
Had no problem browsing files from memory card from mythic to mythic. Files were still sent to phone memory when downloaded though (thanks JS_racer for catching that). This is not the case with with PC ,transfer can go straight to memory card with proper software and dongle.

Decided it had to be issue with windows somehow with built in bluetooth and software.
If anyone figures a workaround for this please add to post.

What worked :

Used to have a bluetooth 2.0  dongle w/ bluesoleil software on old computer and remembered bluesoleil had more options, gave away dongle, lol. Ordered new dongle
installed bluesoleil 6, and guess what shows up. Thats right both the phone memory and the memory card.

NOTE- be sure to go in your phone to    settings - memory management - memory card details   and turn on bluetooth visibility for mmc card. You will need to do this also if you want to browse memory card from another mythic.

This method works fine but - I have a 8 gb memory card and transferring a 500mb
movie via bluetooth averaging about 140-170 kbps was a wait, a long wait about an hour. Tweaking settings may give better results, haven't tried.
I prefer usb cable by far, but this is an option for those of you who have inquired.

Any different software or methods are welcome here, please add below any discoveries
so we may all learn.

"Had no problem sending and receiving files straight to memory card from mythic to mythic."

I must be slow here, How can you transfer to sd cards from 2 mythics ?? i tried when i first got the phones but had no luck.

http://www.samsung-mythic.com/samsung-mythic-discussion/default-store-location-for-transfers-to-sd/

i would like to transfer say a mp3 or movie to the other mythic, send via b-tooth. are there settings i need to enable or anything for the sd or the phone ?? a quick step by step would be great.

Thanks much for the time.

NOTE- be sure to go in your phone to    settings - memory management - memory card details   and turn on bluetooth visibility for mmc card.

Did you do this step its important ? do it for both phones. you may need to pair your phone. You shouldn't really have any problem though especially between two mythics. we also enabled under bluetooth settings to where our phones automatically connect when we are close ,go to bluetooth settings to change this (hold down icon of phone you want to change and settings will pop up).

This definitely works ,I've browsed her mythics memory card from my mythic and sent and retrieved files from it. Don't know how large it can handle, haven't experimented with how large mythic to mythic files can be. I've sent several songs and wallpaper no problem though.

thanks much, i can browse the cards just fine, just rechecked.
She has some 500mb+ files in videos on her card. if i try to transfer it tells me my phone is full. I cant figure how to transfer to the card. sent a picture and checked, it went to the "phone" memory.

thanks again for the time and the effort.

JS_racer,
Hey man
You are correct  Wink  Thanks for catching that, Edited post.

For mythic to mythic transfers you will have to have enough memory available on phone
to do transfer  Sad . Its rather slow to transfer that big of file at one time anyway, it would be way faster to use usb cable to upload from one phone and then download to another.
Still limited in that you need a PC around to transfer files larger than phone memory  Roll Eyes.

You can definitely transfer straight to memory card with PC though, lol. Man it was slow with a 500 mb file ,took over an hour. Still prefer usb if available, can't stand waiting
on something that slow Smiley.

Oh how I love my apple laptop.  I paired it with the phone and I just use the built in bluetooth file exchanger and I can see my phone and the memory card.
