I installed a game and it works fine but do you need to disconnect from TKFE before you enter the admin codes in the phone. I did not do this but I was reading a post by jjesusfreak01 showing how to delete locked apps. His instruction showed disconnecting from TKFE before entering admin codes. Do I need to do that when installing games or apps also. Also If you decide you want to delete an added game, can you do it with the phone or to you need to use TKFE? Thanks for all the helpful information in this forum. Going to keep reading the posts to see how to add apps and widgets.

You can delete games from the phone. You dont need to use TKFE to delete games. As to your question about needing to disconnect from TKFE to enter the admin codes, you don't need to. Hope that helps.

And his instructions were for locked games and apps. Those have to be deleted with tkfe because they are locked and cannot be done with phone.

Is there a disadvantage to installing the games using a local html file?

Not sure, but I think you need some sort of line code or something, similar to what we need to install widgets ourselves. Been meaning to write Bantam an email as Agoat suggested but I've been busy. If you want you could contact himyo find out and try it and post a tutorial or wait and one of us will see what can be done. Games are easy to install though using data cable or upload the Jar to rumkin or Imserbia Here are some quotes In the first post you mention hosting the widgets with the appropriate code.
If we have webspace, what is the appropriate code to do so? I have a small web space at the place I work, and was wondering if I could upload the wgt's to my webspace and somehow download them/install them.
That is a very good question. It only requires like a line of code added to the page where the widgets are stored. I am not sure myself. Also with a line of code you can actually install the jars and jads from your site too. The man to ask is Bantam Bytes. http://www.samsung-mythic.com/profile/?u=557 Shoot him an email and he will get back with you eventually.

If you mean by putting the jad and jar on the memory card and using an html file to try and do the install, it won't work. Its been tried. Permissions using an html file from the media folders is not permitted.

I upload the html file, jar, and jad to the "Other Files" folder.

Very interesting. Been tried on past samsung phones. Possibly the mythic is more different than we know. If this works a small app can be made to just install the files for you. Looking into it. Thanks.

When installing My Cast Weather or Wikimobile, do you need to delete everything out of the folders and add the new .jar and .jad files or do you just replace the .jar and .jad files. I am going to make a copy of the original before I do it but wanted to make sure on the correct way to do it.

Quick question, would appreciate any info/help any one can give, does doing this whole process of installing games terminate insurance that I have bought on my samsung mythic? For example, I want to install games using this guide but I dont want my phone to break by dropping or what not, take it in to the att store and have them tell me my insurance is null because I "hacked" my phone.

Nobody has had an issue yet. My phone has been returned with all the info on it. If you can before you need to return it, I suggest everyone does a master reset.
And you dont return your phone to the ATT store for warranty or insurance issues after the first 30 days. Those matters are handled with customer support on the phone and through the mail or fed ex.
