On the mythic did you have to edit that widget status file to allow it to connect to the internet?

Don't know if you're asking me,  but heres my answer, lol Didn't have to edit accuweather, it just worked. It does have to retry to connect sometimes, kind of like my-cast used to. Have widgets set to not go through Att/cingular proxy also.

I don't think I saw this anywhere on the widget forums but would it be possible to have a widget that just launches your Application folder? It doesn't seem that far out with there being a game widget that launches your game folder.

Yeah that's lame i guess not much else can be done with the widgets. I like how they have a great website to support creating widgets but allow you to very little with them :-(

Yes it is Its worth it if you want some extra widgets. Just remember widgets aren't really supported for our phone so we have to settle for what we can find. We can make any kind of shortcut to internet widget though.

That sounds like the problem I had too. When you go to the pin site, if you have a choice between open or download choose open. On my mythic, selecting open switched it to the other browser and downloaded the file. I didn't get an indication that he installation was complete, but when it finished the new widget was in my widget bar when I scrolled through them.

Agoattamer, I installed the eBay and YouTube widgets from your Browser Widgets pack on my Mythic, but I am having trouble using them. They show up in the TouchWiz bar, and I can drag them onto my screen, although the icons are smaller than the rest of the icons that come with the Mythic. When I click on them, nothing happens.
Has anyone else had luck with these widgets on the Mythic? Other widgets found on this site work just fine.

They are smaller because they were written for a smaller resolution screen on a different phone. Try clicking on the left side of the widget. A stylus will help you find the best spot to touch.
