Finally got it installed and it seems to work but it doesn't receive emails. I can compose and send but I don't receive any. Any ideas?

I'm using yahoo in mobile email 2.0 , I usually receive emails within a couple of minutes. Alerts rarely work,
so I just check inbox.

Which email provider are you using ?

No kidding man  Smiley
Yahoo is free, you could set up account just to check if your mobile email works right.

I ended up just saving the att.my.yahoo.com to my favorites and then checking my email from there. It's nice to have the mobile email but it's not that important. I guess if I was running a business it would justify the 5 bucks a month.

Thanks,
Steve

Stv.....wanted to let you know what I discovered yesterday about using the 2.0. Ya know I said I could send but not receive? Well, I was using the wrong provider. I thought since I had a bellsouth.net account that I should use that provider from the list. So, I decide to set up another account. I went to my mobile email app...chose add account...at&t yahoo....other....entered my email address and password and it works.

Just wanted to share in case someone else might have the same problem.

Hey guys, I have a question. My college website has a hotmail account. I have 'degraded' to mobile email 2.0. I have the family data plan. I will not be charged anything extra on this account will I for setting up hotmail? And also, when you turn on your phone, before unlocking it it shows messages and such. Will it show emails from my hotmail account if I connect them?

Sorry, Im stupid with this stuff

You should be fine with no charges for the hotmail account. Can't answer second question as I don't have a mythic. But email alerts come in the form of a java message.
