No problem Stv. Just wanted to make sure that I was looking at the right page/program.
Just wanted to update about backing text messages. I managed to backup most of them, if not all. It took me several hours, which was a realll pain, but I managed to do it.
This is what I did: I had to install a different software in order to do it. It's called Mobtime Cellphone Manager (used the latest version 6.6.5). I used the trial version, so I believe some of the features on there were disabled, but fortunately not the sms backup feature.
The time consuming thing was moving the sms's back and forth from the sim to the phone. Unfortunately, that program only detects text messages that are on the sim. And the sim that I was using could store only 30 texts at a time. So I had to manually move each text to and fro from the sim to the phone. But eventually I was able to cover all the texts I had on the phone (over 30 obviously).
Also, everytime you move the texts from the phone to the sim (or the other way around), make sure to select the download option (right click on Phone, and select download). That way, it will update the text message list, as well as update the backup that's on your computer. You can do the same for Sent messages, but again you have to go through the whole process of moving the texts from sim to phone and so forth.
Also, make sure to connect your phone to that software through bluetooth only, the cable doesn't seem to be working well with it, as far as I know. And make sure you select other when the guide comes up.
Let me know if you have any questions in terms of setting up the phone or the detailed steps on how to make texts visible in the software...

(Btw, thanks Agoattamer, and Stv, you guys gave me some good ideas!
