Wanted a hard shell for the phone for the added protection and made a blind purchase on this one. For $9.99 + a few bucks for shipping I challenge you to find a better snap together case. It's rubberized which I love, much easier to hold on to than the slick phone. I'm not too sure what the little square cut out on the back is for but it doesn't bother me all that much. Only complaint is that the rubberized plastic makes it a little harder to get out of the pocket but it's worth the added grip while holding it and the protection it gives. I give it a 9/10 mainly because I'd prefer it to not have the raised back with that square cutout, mainly an aesthetic thing.

On another note, I'm not very happy with the screen protectors that I picked up from the AT&T store. The tiniest speck of dust that gets under it before you align the screen up correctly (which is a challenge), shows and no matter how I tried there are still bubbles by the buttons. Three screens for $10, and it took the third try before I finally had a slightly acceptable bond with minimal bubbles. If there's a trick to sticking those things down I haven't learned it yet.

I accept your challenge!

Same thing, same manufacturer, $2.19 :-D

(BTW, I spent $5 on my Pro-Guard.  I might pick up a few extra at the $2.19 price, depending on how much shipping is for multiples).

The square hole on the back is for a (not included) belt clip.

You're right, though, it's a pretty nice case.  And the screen protectors are a pain in the ass...I just finally gave up with the bubble down by my right button.

As far as putting the screen protectors on you need to have screen PERFECTLY clean. Use the lint free cloth if given.  Best to install in the bathroom. Run the shower on hot for a little bit. The moisture will settle all the dust in the air to the ground.

Oh there are lots that I dont know. Lke the secret to get rid of the locked screen savers. I did some research before installing my screen protector. But dealing with computers much, I knew that the bathroom is the best clean room in the house.

I am just not afraid to try and help. Im not always right but I keep ideas flowing. Better than some just reading posts and not giving any feedback. Plus I've read every post on 5 forums so I have some idea what is going on.

I couldnt do it without my bud Quig who pushes me.  Grin

You must have to hit that crack between the lid and bowl just right then. I applaud you for an impressive trick!  Wink

Now that I know the trick for the screen protector I might just have to get some more. I just wish I could figure out the damned bubble by the button. It's like one thousandth too long or something... bleh.

If you're looking for a great screen cover check amazon.com and search GTMax under Mythic Accessories.  The screen covers are not the cheap cling type film, they are thick and rigid, very resilient.  Here is a link for the covers and a hard shell case... under $5.00 with shipping.  I got one and love it!
