Ok...I've tried this one on Howard Forums...maybe you guys can offer a bit o' help.

Could someone familiar with these cases let me know if they provide faceplate protection for the phone (like a screen protector).

From the picture of the blue one, it looks like that it does protect the face, but I can't tell on the black one. I'm guessing that it doesn't, as one of the popular purchases down the bottom IS a screen protector...

Black http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0030SR4NU/ref=oss_T15_product

The phones come in today, but the cases come in tomorrow. Just trying to find out how many screen protectors I have to pick up @ the AT&T store tonight (not sure if Best Buy has them precut for the Mythic, or I'd consider getting them there).

If it doesn't state that it covers the screen most likely it does not. I've only seen one case with a built in screen protector (on ebay) it was $20 plus shipping. Just my personal opinion but the seperate protectors are pretty cheap considering what a new screen costs. And if the film protector gets scratched or worn it saved your screen and can be replaced over and over for very little $$$. I'd hate to replace the entire cover every time the screen protector part gets messed up.

Good point.

BTW, I received my two cases late last week.  The cases don't include an integrated screen protector.  I bought a pack at the AT&T store (and have some more on order from online), so it's all protected  Grin

You don't want one with a built on protector.  I had the $30 casemate one with built-in protector from AT&T for my Eternity, and it tore the screen up like nothing was there, and also the touchscreen response was a bit lacking.  Eventually I just took the case off and threw it away.  My phone's asthetics had taken so much damage anyway there was no point in keeping the case on it.
