This topic used to be a link to the impression forum for fullscreen games. But being the impression and the mythic have 2 different resolutions the games dont display correctly. I suggest looking for Nokia 5800 jar games. If you find some post them up so we can give them a try.

Hello agoat, I've have tried several of these games and I can confirm that there is indeed a java resolution problem. Some games won't play at all while others wil play but they play in a tiny corner of the screen leaving the rest of the screen blacked out. I'm not up on file conversion etc., but is it possible to reset the resolution of these already hacked games to the native resolution of the mythic? I can't tell you how appreciative we all would be. Thanks in advance for any info you may have, rottensalad

I didnt post this link up there. Peter the big Boss did. Some of the games might work. Some were made for larger resolution phones. But if they dont work as is, then there is no conversion.
What is the resolution of that phone....360x640? I believe you will be in luck if you search the net for Nokia 5800 games. The jar games should be the correct resolution.

Thanks rotten. Take the landscape code out of scrabble and it should work on your phone. Like I said try Nokia 5800 non sis games. Maybe even samsung i8910 non sis games. Here is one of my sources that should help everyone along. Great games here and in English. Many of my sources I have to translate the games. But if 5800 games work there are many free sites out there. http://mobile360.org/category/mobile-games/touchscreen-gamesThat is the touchscreen section. Try this section also. Should be able to find many games for your phone. If you let me know what works I can be more help. http://mobile360.org/category/mobile-games/symbian-s60-5th-gamesYou also might have to add the fullscreen code to the game. Add it to the manifest.mf if you install the jar through rumkin or imserba or add it to the jad if you use TKFE. Copy and paste because it needs to be exact. MIDlet-Touch-Support: True

Not every game is going to work. I dont have a mythic so I cant test everyone for you. But instead of posting what doesnt work, why dont you try posting what does. I know for a fact that most of them install on the phone. Because I installed most of them on my phone and it has a different resolution but they installed. I just cant see half of the screen.

Add this code to it also. Put it in the jad if installing with TKFE and the manifest.mf in the jar if installing the jar through a wap uploader site. It will put the game in landscape.
MIDlet-ScreenMode: Landscape

They are whats called jad attributes. You put them in the jad when you install the application.
If just installing the jar then you need to put them in the manifest.mf in the jar.
The landscape one makes things go landscape. And the other one makes apps fullscreen without dpad. But not everything will stretch to fullscreen.
Also the fullscreen and landscape have to be used together for the landscape to work.

You dont do anything with the manifest. When you upload games there is nothing to do.
If you are trying to goatbreak the app then just delete it. There is already a manifest in the jar.
