So I just found out today that iSkoot released an update to the Social Net app. The thing is, the update appears to not be compatible with the Mythic. Anyone else getting this to work? The update seems to be well worth it as most of the features that opened the browser are now capable of operating directly from the app.

There are different versions of the application available depending on where you look? Did you try media mall?

Thanks for the quick reply.

Media Mall is actually where I went first. I selected my device and it said it wasn't compatible. I've been doing a little searching but nothing yet.

I just jumped on there and entered my phone where it asked for it.  Not coming up in the search for me, now.

Of course, we're not on the list of "supported devices" on the iskoot website either, for some reason...

Just tried to download the insight version, the website sent the link to my phone, then told me it was incompatable.  Bastards!

Not sure what they list on their website, but try eternity, impression or solstice versions. They should adapt for the different screen resolution.

Same thing with me, ixijimixi.

You really don't have a choice but to select another phone in the Media Mall. If  you select the Mythic, Social Net won't show as a compatible app at all. Though, if you choose another phone, when they send the link you'll get the message ixijimixi received.

I'm thinking it's only a matter of time before it trickles down too little ol' us. lol

What version are we looking for? I can get it for my impression and then put the files up for the mythic. Last time I looked my version was newer than what ATT had on media mall.

OK, here are the updated files. Hopefully it will adapt. Its version 1.4.31 downloaded on impression but says solstice in the jad.

Works like a charm so far. Thanks, man!

Thats good to know. Did it adapt well to the different resolution? I though it was starnge that on the iskoot website that it said it supports the mythic but yet they deny you a download.

Earlier, I meant I had tried the Impression.  Thanks for the files, Goatman!

As for the iSkoot website, I don't think it listed the Mythic as being compatable with the new build.  Are these guys leaving us behind already?!

You are correct. Clicking the 'Download Now" takes you to a cingular website that shows the mythic but then comes back and says its unavailable.

It operates as it should. The only noticeable difference is the slightly smaller iSkoot and Social Net loading screens. Other than that, it's good to go.

I realize it's a bit late, but is there something I'm not doing in order to install the updated Social Net?  I installed typically as i would with anything else (TFKE) and i get a "not available" message.
